About Me:

I am a graduate student in astronomy at Seoul National University, where I study galaxy evolution in galaxy cluster environments and the baryonic contents of galaxy clusters. My research uses deep spectroscopic surveys and SED fitting to characterize the stellar populations of cluster galaxies, constructing stellar mass functions (SMFs) and luminosity functions (LFs) to understand how galaxies evolve in the densest environments in the universe. I also compare my results with hydrodynamical simulations such as IllustrisTNG to test models of galaxy formation and feedback.

I love to watch and play various sports. I enjoy following the NFL, NBA, MLB, KBO, UEFA Champions League and F1, and I also love playing basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, and board games. I am extroverted, energetic, and enthusiastic — someone who genuinely loves meeting new people and making friends!

I am currently preparing for Ph.D. applications targeting Fall 2027 and am actively exploring what comes next. While my background is in observational astronomy and galaxy clusters, I am broadly curious and open to new research directions beyond my current work.
